I am looking for one or two magazines that may be a good resource for western hunting. Not necessarily armchair reading but something that will give overviews on states for DIY or guided hunts. So who do you think produces an acceptable publication? Thanks in advance.

Western Hunting and Eastman's Hunting Journal. In that order. I like Eastman's ok, mostly for its how-to-do-it articles. They have way too many "Me and Joe" articles though.....I read stuff to learn, not to elk hunt from my living room recliner!
