Wondering about my congressional district and their endorsement. It appears that they have grossly overlooked my district or just didn't do their homework.

Candidate A: RINO. Career "politician". Our daughter roomed with his daughter at college. I doubt he even has a handgun for self defense...or which end of a deer rifle goes bang...but he's a Republican so he gets a A, and NRA's pick.

Candidate B: Young guy, Democrat, black. Tremendous family, good as gold. He owns a farm. Salt of the earth. He's a deer hunter from birth, can "talk guns" with anyone and is a staunch 2A supporter. Conservative as they get. I've hunted with him several times. Passes up 140 class bucks so he can get a 160. Married, two children..."Yes sir, no sir, thank you" type of children. Wife taught his children and they were great. He gets a solid "F".

I usually pay attention since I'm an NRA member, but I have seen them miss a time or two. I've even voted against the NRA pick, I know twice for sure now. I went Republican in a few years back, that had a C, against a Democrat the NRA gave a B to I think.

Candidate “B” may be, as you say, a great guy and conservative NOW. Put him in Washington under the democrat liberal thumb and I fear things would change. It’s all about control of Congress! Our’s or Their’s..........

No. They are done by some clown someplace who isn't in touch with the NRA members or the candidates and they solicit no opinions and take no advice.

NRA endorsements are based at least partly on a candidate's response to written questionnaires. Or lack of response. If they've held office, their voting record is also taken into account. Just because someone doesn't hunt or doesn't own guns, does not mean they are anti-gun.

Yes, I pay attention to the NRA endorsements. However......

Dems are automatic no votes from me now. If they want to uphold the Constitution, they had better get with the party most likely to do so - and that ain't the Dems.

It’s based on their voting record if they have one. If none, it’s based on answers to a questionnaire.

Mark Begich lied on the form when running for us senate, and NRA gave him an “A” rating, even after being part of Bloomberg’s ‘mayors against guns’.

Vote what you know.

Putting B in congress might be the straw that makes Pelosi the speaker and controlling the house agenda.. bad choice

I do for primaries but not for general elections. I vote for Republicans straight ticket.

It doesn't matter how "good a person" they are, if you're on the ticket as a Democrat you will not, under any circumstance, get my vote.

IDGAF if its a choice between a Demonrat or Repuke, the Repuke is ALWAYS going to get my vote in this day and age.

30 years ago? Yes I voted for local progun BlueDogs. None of them are Demonrats today.

The Democrat running in our District is a complete POS. I didn't need the NRA to tell me that.

Just because he says he's a staunch 2nd guy doesen't mean squat, Dems have a bad record on the 2nd.

Hell look at Piddler, he says he's a staunch 2nd guy and he wants everything semi auto banned.

I don't need the NRA to tell me what to do but I still look at the information. No libs for me. I'm suspicious of ANY democrat. Had the Missouri speaker of the house years ago for a neighbor. THAT was one antigun democrat! I would guess he had more power statewide than the governor of those days.I know first hand, spoke to him face to face about a situation. He later spent some time in club Fed. No democrat is going to get my vote these days. Rusty

In the old days when there were some sane Democrats, the NRA guide was much more useful. Now it is nutz to vote D.
