It was cooler here in E TX Saturday morning than at camp on the south end of Indian. Hope the weather cooperates up there, 6" of white stuff would be perfect! How are the beach nuts this year? Man, I'd just about give my left one to be there this weekend. Should be about peak of the chase. I'll have to settle for after Thanksgiving. Good luck! Recovering Yankee

gunswizard Campfire Ranger G Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 17,866 Likes: 2	I hunted the Adirondacks in the early 1970's around Weaverton Riparius, never had an opportunity at any of the bruiser bucks the area is known for. That would come several years later in Aroostook County, Maine where I took a heavily palmated 11 pt. beast that field dressed 254#.
