Looks like he is sticking his head out on the edge of a beaver flow. With any luck I'll be looking at a scene like that in 3 weeks. Man I do miss the Adirondacks!

I traced the photo on the internet, I will not give the exact location but I believe it is a reliable source. Typical "Marsh Donkey".

I was just up there a couple weeks ago. I saw a buck but didn't get a shot. The Adirondacks are one of my favorite places to hunt.

A bit of stress reduction now that you have a buck hanging on the pole?

Sqweeler, fine collection of Adirondack bucks! It was cooler here in E TX Saturday morning than at camp on the south end of Indian. Hope the weather cooperates up there, 6" of white stuff would be perfect! How are the beach nuts this year? Man, I'd just about give my left one to be there this weekend. Should be about peak of the chase. I'll have to settle for after Thanksgiving. Good luck!

Awesome! I struck out this year. I hunted 4 days in the Adirondacks and 6 days in Vermont. I saw deer pretty much every day but blew the only good chance I had at a buck. I will be hunting the late archery season in PA so there is still a chance but, as much as I like archery, there is nothing like roaming with a rifle through miles of forest.

I hunted the Adirondacks in the early 1970's around Weaverton Riparius, never had an opportunity at any of the bruiser bucks the area is known for. That would come several years later in Aroostook County, Maine where I took a heavily palmated 11 pt. beast that field dressed 254#.
