G'Day. This question is for John and anyone else who may like to contribute.
Nosler list data for the .257 AI cartridge. Does anybody know if the pressure limit for this data would be set at 50 000 CUP, the same as the standard Roberts? I thought John may have some inside knowledge on the matter.
Thanks for all replies.

If you have a modern rifle, as I assume, ignore pressure data and just work up.
I think, therefore I am, conservative.

Yeah, done that. I was just curious as to how Nosler would limit the pressure in a round not listed by SAAMI.

If you have a modern rifle, as I assume, ignore pressure data and just work up. There are people you can send to climb stairs. There are people you can send to climb Mt Everest. But the Mt Everest path does not meet the code for stairs; risers between 4 and 7 inches, treads are 11 inches. SAAMI is like the stair rail for grandpa.

Had the same question. When comparing the standard to the AI data max loads for some powder is only half a grain more in the AI which should produce less pressure than the standard does with half a grain less. Almost a - P load. But I have also heard of the same load producing higher velocity in an AI case which doesn't make sense unless the shoulder angle alters burn rate and/or pressure.
