I have two vintage Sixteen gauge Belgian Auto-5s that I will be selling at the Tulsa Gun Show on Oct 10-11. One was manufactured in 1954, the other is from 1929. Both are amazing to look at. PM me if you will be in Tulsa that weekend.
Thank our servicemen and women for their sacrifices. Thank John M. Browning for his firearms inventions. _______________________ NRA BENEFACTOR MEMBER
You may want to check out www.artsgunshop.com, Art was employed at Browning for years, and it a master gunsmith on the A5.
They buy and restore A5’s, and always have them in stock, you can get a beautifully restored A5 from them for 2-3k. Heck he’s got some new in box ones for 3.6k, to 4K.
BTW - I grew up on a 16 Gauge Belgium and almost bought another one, but decided to try the new A5 Sweet sixteen instead.
The weight difference is HUGE, the new one is 5lbs 12 oz, the ‘59 Belgium was just under 7lbs - but they both pull up the same on me so I’m really happy with the new one.
