R19 and the other powders you mentioned. Hope this helps. RL26 was definitely the fastest in my rifle.

beretzs,

Thanks for the information. Is this data from Quickloads?

The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!

With the Swift 53 grains might be pretty hot. With 130 Bergers I was getting flat primers at 52.5 in hot weather. Dropped back to 51 grains and still getting 2950+/- fps.

Berger tops out at 50.6 for the 135 elite.

I agree with that. My current lot of 26 is pretty quick. As always, work up from low until you know where you’re at with the data.

Please forgive my 'butchering' of your larger charts post. The following 'excerpt' compares quite well with my load.....

M 70, 22" bll, IMR 4350 ** 120 gr** N B T

Your chart shows:

"Cartridge : 6.5 x 55 Swedish
Bullet : .264, 130, Swift Scirocco
Useable Case Capaci: 52.180 grain H2O = 3.388 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.150 inch = 80.01 mm
Barrel Length : 22.0 inch = 558.8 mm
Powder : IMR 4350

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 1.064% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

Step Fill. Charge Vel. Energy Pmax Pmuz Prop.Burnt B_Time
% % Grains fps ft.lbs psi psi % ms

.
-01.1 97 46.50 2834 2318 59783 11554 98.8 1.114 ! Near Maximum !
** +00.0 98 47.00 2862 2365 61733 11648 99.0 1.098 ! Near Maximum ! "

My load in my rifle is 49 grs yields 2987 fps with a 10 gr lighter bullet

We are using different rifles and components yet the results are 'comparatively' close.
I've shot the 'same' cases repeatedly, the case stretch is minimal, and primer pockets are tight.

THANK you for posting ALL that info.

Sorry, I forgot. Recently I bought some Rl 26 but have not yet started testing it.
It'll be Spring before I do because my deer season starts in earnest Saturday.
