raggedy ol' 2000 cherokee 2wd, 175,000 on everything but engine, which is a jasper reman with 45,000 miles on it (thanks to a son who blew the original one); running a high-flow cat with straight pipe (thanks to same son). fixin' to start re-doing stuff from underneath: shocks, springs, bushings, rotors, actual muffler. locker, maybe.

I didn't weigh it on that trip, but I did on another behind my 2005. We were in the upper 28k combined very close to 29k. I don't make a habit of it and definitely try to drive sensible. It's also hard to maintain traction pulling out from a stop...

I have been lookin at an 06 Dogde Mega Cab. This thing is a 3/4 ton with 4x4 a Cummins Turbo, the off road package and the navigation system. Kelly blue book is over $50,000, but the local dealers are desparate to get rid of last year's stock so they are sellin them dirt cheap! They only want $35,000 for it. I am thinkin about payin half and the other half from my family as a birthday present. Jump on it! The '06 is the last pre-smog diesel, also they've gone to an electric switch for 4wd vs the manual lever, which is a step backwards IMHO. With the '06, pull the lever back and you are in 4wd. With the electric switch you have to shift in/out neutral and some other hocus pocus, it wouldn't go in on the fly when I test drove an '07, and when you need 4wd you need it now, not eventually. I did. It sure as hell trumps the football captain's ego regarding his 06 Ford F-150. It is nice too, the one that I bought was $42,000, I paid $35,000 of it and the rest of which my folks footed the bill. I paid cash! That shocked the dealer! I tell ya that the Cummins Turbo aint the best on milage, but it is nice. It also has the navigation system, Sirius Satelite radio, rear seat entertainment system, and the roof lights, though it aint a dually.

2001 Chevy Silverado Z-71, 5.3L, automatic, 4.10 rear end. It used to have a ton of scratches from brush busting but they got buffed out when I had some body damage repaired. Has 93,000 miles but is getting around just fine. Would love to have it lifted but can't afford the investment at this time. Mileage is decent and it is a very comfortable ride. No complaints and probably will replace it with something similar in the distant future.

I've got an 82 chevy half ton well the frame is and body came from one anyway. Its got 3/4 ton axles with 3.73 gears and 4 inches of lift. I built a small block 400 for it with some goodies from lunati and holley. Plenty of power to kill those little 35x12.50's

My friend has a 1 ton Chevy four door crew cab 4x4 dually. It has the Duramax Diesel Engine with the Allison Transmission. He has done a lot of things to it. I have no idea what. I know he mentioned parts by Bulldog or something like that. This truck go's 14.20's in the 1/4 mile, I think he said the MPH was 96, I can't remember though. I wasn't at the track when he ran it. I've ridden in it though and I believe it runs what he says it does. This truck flat out MOVES!

Yea, lol, the Tundra wouldn't be too hard to burn, but I'll have to admit, with over 130,000 on it, can't tell that it's lost any power.
