I grew up there and still have many friends that still live there. Touched base and they are all safe and evacuated, now they play a waiting game and hope they have a home to return to. Sad deal.

My son arrived there a few hours ago. . It was windy much of today, but it hopefully calmed down up there like it did here around 4pm.

The fire is now to the outsides of Chico, CA and is burning up the Feather River Canyon To Pulga and more.
