No but it looks really good. Anything they do is good, I am more familiar with NP3. What do they charge for that?

Industrial black chrome is just a step below melonite in durability and looks great over a bead blasted barrel or action. Just don't get the black nickle finish that some cal chrome it is not much harder than Cerakote.

My Sako 85 has been “blackened.” It has some inconsistencies in its finish. Reckon why they were sold dirt cheap. I have one & I love it. Don’t care about its spots.

I'm probably foolish to coat it at all but I do a lot of predator hunting in the winter and I can't help but thinking of my brother's stainless Ruger with their smooth stainless finish coming across the field on a moon lit night He looked like Obi-Wan Kenobi with a light saber. The Montana I bought is no where as shinny as the Ruger but I'll think it will get done anyway.

Sounds like a fix searching for a problem. But I am me, and you are you. My stainless is back to stainless, but may not stay that way.

Who offers the industrial black chrome finish for firearms?

Winchester tried some variety of black chrome to color the post 64 Mod 94 ductile iron receivers. It was not durable enough for them. Apparently scratch resistance was poor.

FWIW this company does black chrome and darn near anything else you could want: http://www.techplate.com/firearms_pl.htm
I have not used them.

Bead blasting does give a nice textured finish for a hunting arm, imo.
