saw 5 does tonight, no bucks, had 4 diffrent bucks on the trail cam last night. not chaseing does, ruts over or not realy started I guess!

best one on the farm so far, although I've never seen him in daylight.

I shot his grandpa a couple years ago.

3 buck this morning 2 spikes and a 2 1/2 yr old 8 pt that I grunted from the field right past my stand at 5 yds

Snow pretty hard now

Dan, how's the rut activity near you? It dropped off a cliff here the last 3 days.

Saw 3 does this afternoon, and a big Spike, wind and snow! Bucks the big ones only moveing at night!

Back at it in the morning

Swing and a miss on my buddies buck after 4.5 hrs of searching / following sign (did see a young 8 chasing a doe while doing so)...He drove back home in disgust. I hunting last night, got wet and saw does but will give it another try this afternoon.

Zero this morning howling wind this afternoon so I'm off. Lock down is in full force right now

Off I go now, they were moving last night, wind and all !!! Was not the most enjoyable sit.

Then remind me not to be a pussy when it's blowing 25-30 mph check out the buck in the back ground he has to be the one I saw twice last weekend,he is standing right near the bush I cut out to sit on the ground and hunt windy days ugh!

Then from other property the drop tine 6 pt again and an 8 pt that looks heavy but can't really gauge him

Yesterday morning was a slow go, 8 pt, a spike and a bunch of doe...did see a mature wide buck, but at 240 yds I thought it a bit of reach for my Hoyt Also recovered a buck my buddy arrowed the night before. I'll try a different spot this afternoon.

A young man whom I've known since he was a boy stopped by Saturday night to show me his "First" archery buck ! All I can say is holy smokes!!

That afternoon was a parade, spike, a 6 pt and a young 8 with a bunch of does...A nice sit but nothing to get excited about.
