Was at an indoor range years back, 6 lanes all to my own self. I'd just finished on the 50 yard line when a couple of fellas came in. I put the RSB in the bag and picked up the 12 and stuffed a 3" load of buckshot and told them to put on their hearing gear. They laffed a little and one did so, The other blew me off, so I shouldered the piece and let rip. Looked over at where they'd been and they came crawling out from under the bench. One was muttering in his native tongue, the other looked at me with wide eyes and said, "Are you OK?" I smiled and loaded another shell. Mr. Mutter put on his muffs.

Ingwe, I shot in a vehicle one night. It was spectacular! Stopped a firefight dead in its tracks. Then I flew back to base and got drunk. Belt feed is awesome.

I am..........disturbed.

Well, strictly speaking bullets do gain velocity after leaving the barrel - in the downwards direction, due to gravity.

They will also do so if shooting in a vacuum, although negligibly so and even less so in normal atmospheric conditions.

Remember, when handloading the Barnes x tsx etc, you need to load them SLOW. If they are loaded too fast they go through deer too fast and do not get a chance to expand..... Lol I was told this.

I've shot some refrigerators also, but the strangest I've ever seen was an old TV that somebody had taped a pink douchebag to the screen and proceeded to shoot it up. This was at our local gravel pit shooting range when I was a kid . No information on what type of ammo that guy was using though......

Now with even more aplomb

300 mag but since I own all the weatherby chamberings, it's hard to tell or remember.

I don't think you could sneak up on a refrigerator. Much less hit one if you did. DA

Well, I can't sneak up on any of the fridges in your front yard, that's for sure. All those dogs you've got living under the trailer make a hell of a racket.

I’ll confess to having trolled a clerk a time or two.

Been staring to look at something for a deer rifle for my 10-year-old daughter, and I’ll ask her (in front of the clerk) if she thinks she can handle the 460 Weatherby, or stick with the 375 Holland for Whitetail. If the clerk doesn’t give me a horrified look and a brief talk about gross overkill, I generally look for someone else to help us.
