I 'need' to choose one of the following scopes for some long range shooting.
Bushnell DMR 3.5-21x50 (first gen) Bushnell ERS 3.5-21x50 Bushnell LRHS 18x
I have experience with the LRHS and like them but I am keen to try one of the other two if there are benefits. I am not concerned about weight or price.
For the guys that have used them which one would you recommend?
Cheers

LRTSi is another one worth considering...

I put a Bushnell ERS 3.5-21x50 on an AR-15 that proved to be very accurate with Black Hills Match Ammo (.223). It has straight elevation travel, it will zero, maintains the zero and will return to zero. I did the box test using 10 mil legs. The the last group piled the rounds in on top of the first group (bottom left). Once we zeroed it initially my daughter shot two 5-shot 1/2 MOA groups at 100 yards. This AR was a build that me and a friend did for my daughter. I bought top of the line parts and a medium profile barrel that had a 1 MOA guarantee. It shoots a bit better than that with the right ammo. I haven't run it anything close to the way Form would run it as far as round count. I may have 500 rounds through it. My daughter has shot several hundred rounds through it as well. The scope performed flawlessly...on a .223. Not much of a trial for a good scope.

I have an elite 3200 on my 243 and I have beat it to hell. Kept its zero and keeps performing through it all. Bought it here through the fire

The ERS is a great scope, but the feature set of the LRHS make it preferable to me.
The benefit of the larger scopes (DMR and ERS) is that you get more elevation travel. The glass on the LRHS, with its newer coatings, is about as good or even a bit better than the ERS, IMO.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
The LRHS was gone when I went to have a look at the scopes and ended up with the ERS. Looking forward to giving it a try!
Cheers
