More like spring rolls at the Chinese restaurants Charlie.
They're pretty good most times, excellent if you find the right maker, like tamales!

Yup, like Geno stated Charlie.
These were made by a friend of my wifes from work who sells them to make money for her boys basketball team.
Seasoned ground beef, cabbage, carrots and peas wrapped in multiple layers of rice paper like phyllo.

Big ol' deer sketti sauce ! Deer stew, based on Rea Drummond's recipe from the stew thread, except subbed in Guinness for the lager. Going to make another smoked mac n cheese tonight, to have with the deer sauce.

Thanks Richard, it was good.
Leftovers for lunch today.
The Staub DO is great, we have 2, that large one & a smaller one.
They both get a workout, as you know, we do lots of "low n slow" cooking.

That looks good Paul, how do you like that Dutch oven? Certainly a classy looking vessel which begs the question. Are all DOs equal in performance ? I use my ancient Griswold chicken fryer w/lid (very good seal) alongside an enameled Lodge. The Griswold has the nostalgia but the enameled DO has the edge when it comes to clean up but that's another discussion . Both seem to cook equally well. JMHO

I've got about every kind known to man. Camping; + a cheap, enameled "no name knock off", in the camper. Nicer ones for home. Love 'em all.

Reminds me, next time I'm over the pass in the other town I need to check the market there that has a bunch of old CI stuff for a Dutch oven. I'm needing one badly, methinks.
Hard to compete with you folks when one doesn't have the proper tools.

Elk pot roast and beer. Roast was smoked for 2hrs on low smoke then transferred to a crockpot and slow cooked for 5hrs, then enjoyed with a cold beer.
