Anyone use them and how does the service compare to Prophet River? It looks like they are a bit less expensive.

Good question. Interested to hear feedback as well.
I've seen more well-shot game lost with TSXs than any other premium bullet.

While I have not dealt with them they do advertise at Canadian GunNutz and most people seem to have had good experiences dealing with them.

Quick update. I had IRG import a rifle for me this year. Long story short- Prophet River will be getting all my import business going forward.

Hard to find a better guy than Clay to work with on importing or buying from in Canada.

I also use Clay at Prophet River. A good friend used IRG and wasn't happy. Clay is a good guy and his prices are more than fair.

I have used irunguns to buy a Thompson Contender. No problems.
You say a friend bought from igunruns, but was not happy. Please explain his dissatisfaction.

I heard that people have problems with Remingtons. No more of them for me! ---
My transaction with irg went smoothly. About 7-8 weeks from the initial order to having it in my hand. Since no one has explained their statements, it appears that there are no problems with IRG. They are another option for people who wish to import firearms into Canada.

Interesting 'logic'. My import was over 4 months late and their communication was lacking, to say the least.

This might be difficult for some, but let's go through the thread. The original post was started in February. The 25th to be exact. Anyone use them and how does the service compare to Prophet River? It looks like they are a bit less expensive. The same day in February, Wrongside wondered too. Good question. Interested to hear feedback as well. Eight months goes by, and Wrongside says, Quick update. I had IRG import a rifle for me this year. Long story short- Prophet River will be getting all my import business going forward. Okay, but that doesn't explain anything. Long story short, there's no story. No explanation. Clay gets his business. So how does the service compare to Prophet River? What happened? On 12 Nov, 8 1/2 months after the thread started, Steve said, ...Since no one has explained their statements, it appears that there are no problems with IRG. A couple more weeks pass. Finally, almost 9 months after the original question was asked, Wrongside says.
Interesting 'logic'.
My import was over 4 months late and their communication was lacking, to say the least.
Why didn't you say this earlier, rather than saying, 'long story short, Prophet River is getting all your export business...'? Considering that you originally wanted to hear feedback too, when you had some, you didn't bother providing it until a couple of days ago. Even then, your '4 months late and their communication was lacking' is not much of an explanation. Did you try talking to them? If so, did they respond? According to you, the transaction was 4 month late. Did they offer any updates or explanation(s)? More information about your experience would have helped. And Jordan, grow up. WRT my logic, it's simple: Long story short, until November, eight months after the original question was asked, no one spoke about their dealings with IRG except me. One person might have had a negative experience with IRG, but one person's experience does not make them a bad company - especially when they do not explain themselves.

Steve,
You have a historical habit of seeing what you want to see. This thread is no different.

No, I see that no one answered the question, and read some unsubstantiated, disparaging remarks.
"Anyone use them and how does the service compare to Prophet River?"
I watched Wrongside and yukon casting aspersions, but not providing anything of substance. You just stirred the pot, adding nothing of value. That was childish, as you often are. ---
If you wish to say something negative, then provide some proof.
Cariboo - While I have not dealt with them they do advertise at Canadian GunNutz and most people seem to have had good experiences dealing with them.
Wrongside - Quick update. I had IRG import a rifle for me this year. Long story short- Prophet River will be getting all my import business going forward.
yukon254 - I also use Clay at Prophet River. A good friend used IRG and wasn't happy. Clay is a good guy and his prices are more than fair.
Steve - You say a friend bought from igunruns, but was not happy. Please explain his dissatisfaction.
Jordan - LOL, using the word “logic” is being generous in this case...

I'm not going to get into your name-calling/ad hominem game, that you seem to love playing so much with other posters around here. Suffice it to say that nobody owes you anything. Just because other posters don't feel it necessary to provide you with whatever evidence you demand, doesn't mean that their experiences are non-existent or invalid. I was a witness to Wrongside's experience with IRG. I've imported through PR in the past, and after watching what Wrongside went through, I will continue to use PR in the future.

Then try communicating your experience, otherwise hush.
Your baiting is childish.
