Kind of embarrassed.  This tough old Marine got sick and had to leave after only one day of hunting. A big disappointment. I squandered an opportunity that will never come again in my lifetime. I found the right place and just listening to a dozen bulls bugling was something that I will never forget. KC

So that’s where all the elk were!? I was just across a ridge from 76 and the elk were scarce in 1st rifle.
Sorry to hear about your hunt though. Hope all is well and you’ll be back at it next year.

Man that really sucks, very sorry to hear this. I've had crap happen on long awaited big hunts too - hurts like hell.
