Gents, my search ability is apparently poor. Can anyone link me to some threads on these that you have saved?
I have a 375 H&H, serial number G326XXX that has been sitting in the safe for about 15 years that I am considering parting with. Just trying to figure out a fair value on it, excellent condition except for a ding on the front of the palm grip, probably less than 100 rounds as I've only run about 50 through it.
From what I could find on the 'fire it looks like a late run classic, maybe mid '90's?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Little bit later than mid 90s. ~ 2000 for DOM. Nice gun.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Might easily fetch $1350+++ on Gunbroker.. Assuming it's mint - especially if you still have the box, papers, tags etc...

Thanks for the info Redneck, unfortunately I purchased it lightly used with no box or paper work. It is in excellent condition with only two minor dings.
I am correct in these have the better trigger in them than the newer BACO's?
There are shows in Houston the next 3 weekends, maybe someone will need a Christmas present if I carry it around.

I bought one in .416 Remington that appears unfired in that the bluing is not worn out of the inside of the barrel with no box for $975 at a local gun shop about six months ago. I also bought a stainless Classic .375 for a little more at about $1,200 because I wanted one and hadn't seen a stainless .375 in a few years.

DesertMD - New Haven or BACO? Either way sounds like you did well on both from what i have seen price wise. Thanks for the info.

Both were New Haven. Seems the price is a little soft on these right now to me. I bought two like new New Haven 7mm STWs and a hunted .300 Weatherby for the actions in the last few months for $750-$800 each. I had some bad experience with the mid 90s guns but have had really good luck with the last few I have purchased. Good rifles.

Better by light years... The M70 SE in .416 Rem never seems to bring the same bux that the .375 brings.. Probably due to the (1) price of shells and (2) punishing recoil and (3) suitable basically for Africa only.... Overkill here in the good ole USA - while the .375 is eminently more usable here..
