Here is an early TD in the 71.6k range. It must be one of the earlier TDs in 30-30. The rifle appears to be original except for the rear sight, which is a typical Marbles replacement here in the UP of Michigan. The front sight looks to be original but it is a sheard. Pretty good condition with normal wear for a rifle that was used for hunting and is over 100 years old. I tried to load some pictures from my phone but obviously I couldn’t figure out the size or posting issues. I’ll try tonight or tomorrow with my pc. I tried to link the photos but I’m in a bar in the UP and it nots happening. Sorry they are in the image gallery. 99td

There's an Image forum down towards the list of forums. You can upload full sized pictures there, and then link them here or just tell us they are there.
71.6xx would be really early. We've seen a couple very low ones, but the mass production seems to have taken off right around 70.000.
