I've used BGE's for about 7 years. I love my BGE Large. I use it as an oven, smoker and grill. My favorite is surf and turf with a nice steak and lobster when the BGE is running about 800 degrees.

I've had a large BGE for about 2 yrs. Love it. I used a Weber for many years and got to be pretty good with it, but with the Weber I always felt the need to stay near to adjust for fluctuating temps. With the egg I'll stay nearby until the temp settles; then it stays that way. My main use has been low and slow and smoking. I've made bacon several times, Canadian bacon a few, pulled pork, and ribs often. In fact I plan on doing a rack tomorrow. I doubt you'd be disappointed.

I couldn’t justify how spendy the BGE is when I was shopping for a Kamado. I ended up purchasing a Pit Boss K24 from my local Costco for $599. Having been purchased at Costco their lifetime warranty applies. No one could convince me their BGE does anything my PB can’t do for a fraction of the expense. Kamado’s are super versatile plain and simple.

Bge owner here for 4 yrs. absolutely the best investment I’ve ever made concerning cooking. Just a couple of pics....wish I didnt delete all the others. I’ve done it all. Desserts like apple pies, cakes, jellies etc. cooked 48 hour cooks with no problem. I’m sold.

I have two. A large was the biggest they made when I got my first one. Still have it and still love it.
Also have a small BGE. We use it most of the time with just two of us here. Both do fantastic steak, ribs, ham, and even pizza.
They are highly recommended over any substitute and lower priced copy.

I joined the cult of the BGE Father’s Day this year. They are the greatest in outdoor cooking. I’m won over❗️💪

I have a Primo. Both BGE and the Primo are great cookers. Everything he said. Take a look at the Primo XL. Direct and indirect cooking at the same time!

I’m just a poor boy, wife picked up a PitBoss 24” on super close out last fall for $270. I’m still learning temp regulation for slow cooks. But for high temp grilling it does super. Did a pair of Prime bone in ribeyes tonight in it.
Believe it or not, there are Kamado cooking forums out there that would make our optics forum look mild.
