Guys what do you think. Marlin 1894 357. Like the look of the winged but it is harder to adjust? As I am getting a fiber optic dovetailed front wondering if the wings wlll look dumb as the front is still just out there unprotected. Thanks for any opinions or experience. Be safe. Spence

If one's unit endures some rough handling (like saddle scabbards etc), I 'd be inclined to wing it. If life gives it a gentle ride then naked.

I have the un-winged Skinner on mine. Looks and shoots great.
I don't like a lot of clutter on my rifles either.
