I have been looking a little at Kimber micros, but ran across a few of these Iver Johnson's . does anyone have experience with them? IJs can be found for $350-$400, I think Bud's has the Kimbers on for just under $500.

Thanks guys!

Kid, unless you just have your heart set for one of the pistols you mentioned the Ruger LCP2 or the Kahr CW380 ,(P380 if you like to spend money) would be more of what I would consider. I might just wonder about the little kimber these days. The Ruger is a known performer, costs less, and as a fact checked by at least one dead man murdered with one by one shot in the chest in a Metro area parking lot recently, work fine. My daily carry now is a P365, when I have to tuck my shirt in a P380 in my pocket.

the Kahrs look pretty nice, I see the price jump between CW and P models. I could get used to the DAO. I ha d a Sig P228 as a duty gun years ago and liked it, as well. thanks for giving me something else to consider.

The P series guns as I understand it have more milled parts in them, CW have more MIM. I have both and other than changing the recoil springs out have had no issues with either.

I do not like single action pocket pistols. I prefer a long smooth trigger for pocket carry. If I didn't absolutely need to pocket carry,I would buy a bigger gun and carry it IWB.

The IJ Pony´s, as well as the Colt Mustangs, are copies of the Star DK and DKS Starfire.

My Father has one, I had one.

Very small pistols, reliable, quite accurate.

But they hurt just as much on the rear end, as on the front one!

crazy

I even bought a thick leather glove for training … then found a better solution:

Got a Glock 42!

There might be even smaller 380´s, BUT:

it´s thinner, shorter and lower weight than an Aluminium PPK, and 380 vs 32 ACP caliber.

I LOVE mine!
