Anybody seen one sell recently? What are they bringing approx?

Just curious, not looking at any auctions or sales.

Odd, figured somebody would have seen one in the last year. I've never made a concerted effort to find one, but it's been on my radar for 13 years or so and the few times I did look for one there was never a trace of one anywhere. There's a repro available from Cornell Pubs for $17, but meh...

Anyway, been filling in the gaps in my library the last 6 months as I could. Picked up a nice copy of Bill West's book on Savage and Stevens, found a very nice 2nd Edition Murrays, and last week found a copy of Carr's book on Savage pistols and a 1st Edition Murray's.

Very happy, it's a nice little group. I'll probably never be done, but good start.




But as I pulled my Carr book out of the shipping package today, there was a piece of plastic sticking up above. Odd.. so I open the book and take the plastic out, and lo and behold..




I'm thinking the pamphlet is probably worth more than what I paid for Carr's book (got a very reasonable deal).

SWEET! You should have waited 'til Christmas morning to open that.

Glad you put that in there because I had absolutely no idea what this thread was going for.

Still need a copy of The Tenderfoot's Turn, but maybe that will be tucked into my next book.

You still need the yellow pistol book so there is hope.

It's not a good copy missing the back cover and the front is off the staples

Mine is in really good shape. Didn't measure it, but since it only covers the 32 cartridge it's probably earlier. 1908-1912?

I don't know if the parts listings at the back would have changed over those years, if one of our pistol gurus could use that to narrow it down?
