The Nashville drivers brought to mind, yet again, why is it that almost every pedestrian you see at night, is wearing dark clothing? Death wish, or something? Wanting to be a badass? Hard to be badass when you're dead or maimed!
In the late 6'0's - early '70's, young folk wore reflective, or light colored clothes at night - to be seen, and NOT run over! WTH happened to common sense - fashion?

The only true cost of having a dog is its death.

I see it all the time. I saw it a couple of hours ago.

Nashville is working right now I bet at taxpayer expense to get every bum a reflective vest. Certified homeless newsletter "selling" bums will be the 1st to get em.
Bank it....
TDOT dont appreciate em staining up the asphalt with blood and guts. And the metro fire department has better things to do like watching survivor, rather than running a tanker to a scene to wash it all away before it sets and stains the road.

The world has changed so much the last 50 years...maybe my perception is a bit warped, but I feel like so many people are just downright hostile and callous these days...to the point of being murderous. If I had to walk the street of the big city I think I might rather make myself invisible and avoid becoming someone's target of opportunity.

I am several miles out in the country, with country blocks of one mile square. I leave home for work at about 6:00 AM and often encounter joggers or walkers along the edge of these narrow one lane roads. Some even have a dog on leash or at heel.
Occasionally I see a reflective vest .................on the DOG????????
And then there is the guy riding his bicycle on the shoulder of the busy state highway (65 mph limit) two or three times a week, an hour before the eastern sky even begins to lighten.
People who choose to brew up their own storms bitch loudest about the rain.
