Been waiting for reports from the usual suspects, Tanner, Starsky, huntsman22, Smokepole, Brad etc. My season was a bust (that's why its called hunting I suppose) so I was hoping to live vicariously through you guys, but eerily silent. What's the scoop?

What's the scoop? I don't think Starsky kills much unless Tunner has time to guide him. Prove me wrong?

Busted this year for me, too 'swede. Couldn't find the antelope I was after during the season, and didn't pull the trigger on an elk. Coulda, but I opted out. Wasn't willing to go thru the packout for a little raghorn......getting lazy, I reckon.

Swede,
Think a bunch of us are getting tired of the fire these days. Lots of mental masturbation about things people will never do. I'd rather go out and do it.
Shoot me a PM and I'll send some pics. It was a fairly decent fall...

It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

Really should've got a spray tan before that hunt. The fact you used a Berger 6.5mm 140 gr VLD is enough penance for the King. Well done Serf. It's like clubing baby seals. Whomp Whomp Whomp.

Got any mil, er I mean "proprietary" 1/3 MOA turrets laying around? I busted another phugging Leupold...

LOL. Walt Berger never forgets you dip schit. As the century turned, we had all but given up on the notion that we could make a “Hunting” bullet which is also match grade. In 2005, everything changed. While attending the SHOT Show, we were approached by John Burns who at the time was with The Best of the West TV show. He asked if we would be interested in sponsoring their hunting TV show. Walt replied “We don’t make a hunting bullet”. John’s response was “Oh yes you do.”
John pulled out a portable DVD player and showed us 45 minutes of bang flop after bang flop. Being a long time hunter, Walt was very impressed with how quickly the game was dropping after each of the hits. John relayed that every animal was taken with Berger VLD match grade bullets and that he’d taken or watched personally hundreds of big game taken with Berger VLD over the years.

Swede, thanks for including me in that bunch but not a lot for me to post this year. Had ankle surgery earlier this year and it's still not right. On top of that, had to spend an unplanned 3 days in the hospital in early September with a staph infection in my elbow so I had to turn in my muzzloader bull tag. Got a decent antelope buck, but that was about it for me. I'll just have to get after it next year.

I've been selling snake oil and guiding high fence hunts for the last few months, so you will have to excuse my absence. I'll be on here more often now knowing I can once again be shown the way of the samurai by John.
I also have no idea how to post photos anymore. If somebody has some spare time I can send you some to put up here

Hey whatever happened to that gig anyway? Primer for a young guy who can't figure out todays tech? Greybull thought they could survive with a non compete without me, that did not happen. My non compete is now behind me.

Dang Tanner , some fine animals!! I'm hardly an expert at judging sheep but I'd say those 1st 3 rams are mighty impressive. Some fine mule deer as well. Thanks for posting - much appreciated!!
