Searching for a hunters edge for a Tikka T3.... came across this and was wondering if anyone had one to give feedback. Stockys carbon fiber stock for a Tikka

I can't speak for Stockys for you Tikka but having had a couple of M70 stock from them was not overly impressed. I now have a McMillan Edge carbon for my A7 6.5CM that started life in a roughtech stock with scoped weight w/3.5x14 Nikon of 9lbs4 oz (way too heavy for extended carry/ease of handling). Switched to the carbon stock and the whole thing now weighs 7lbs 12oz! I could not be happier but this option cost several hundred.

Interesting stock

I think that is made in New Zealand. They are used on Best of the west stocks I believe. If it is built with no seams unlike a mcmillan edge or glass stock or most others built in a 2 piece mold. I can't recall the name of the company but they used to be kiwi composites.

I have one and finished it at 20.7 oz. It is not a drop in so you will have to bed it. It is a little rought on the inside but outside the carbon shell is on par with manners and mcmillan. If you have big hand of which I don’t the palm swell is a nice touch. I didn’t like the butt pad that came with it so I replaced it with a Hasting micro cell. If you cannot wait for a mcmillan edge or manners or want something light this will suit you.
