All, Have recently started hunting in the Fredericksburg area of Texas and am looking for a place to process our animals. Cleanliness and safe handling are of utmost importance. Also want a place that doesn't cross process my animal with someone else's. Oh, quality of product is important also.  Thanks

Why not do your own? It isn't rocket science, and I have found that I enjoy the whole process, from getting ready to hunt to eating the critter. A deer should not take too long... an evening or two. (Moose are another matter.... . ) I have never used a processor for several deer, one elk, 20 something moose and nearly 100 caribou. A few black bear, sheep and one goat also. Bone them out, separate the muscle masses, make steak, roast, stew and burger. Invest in a vacuum packer if you don't have one. Put no bone in the freezer. Correction- I used a processor to turn one entire caribou into hot dogs and sausage last spring.

Yes, Brady would be way too far. It’d be almost a 5 hour round trip from my house. Shotts would be most convenient.
