I have a rifle I had built on a Rem 600 action that is designed to be a light mountain carry rifle. I had it chambered for 25-284 but have not had/taken the time to work up loads for it. I am starting at ground zero with a blank slate.

I am just getting back into reloading and there are a lot of new components to add to the mix. Can you all share recipes that work well for you?

I appreciate the info.

(I have done the search thing but my search foo must be weak....)

I have a ultra light arms model 20 in 25-284. mine has a 20 inch 1-10 twist barrel. I used norma 6.5x284 brass and necked it down. I have 2 loads that show zero pressure signs, in fact I thought about heating it up some to see what it will do, but anyway with the 85 grain nosler bts I used 47 grains of varget and a F210 primer and get 3350fps, and the other is a 115 grain nosler bt with 40 grains of varget with a F210 primer and get 3050fps. its handy because in my rifle the 85s sight in about 2 inches high and the 115s are dead on. I can use either round without re sighting. great caliber hope you enjoy it
