$6,000 is asking price. Has just one short (1/8") scratch on the barrel near the scope and minor wear on the sides of the dropping block. crisp new otherwise. Less than 50 down the tube, range time only. Need more pictures, let me know. I just bought a new Merkel Extreme. Feeling guilty about spending the money. Marked .275 Rigby on the left side of the barrel. Chambered same as 7X57 Mauser. As new Dakota case and papers and order sheet included.

Compliments appreciated. My jaw dropped when I saw the wood. Both sides match. Quite unusual as grades tend to vary from one side to the other. No other blanks they offered for the order were even close to this quality. I hope someone will enjoy it as much as I have. The wheelbarrow is getting low on cash. (yeah - right) Time to put some money back in the rifle kitty.
That is soo true. To get wood that has equal figure is key. I truly appreciate fine wood. Don Allen was a true connoisseur of wood. It was a great loss when he passed.
Yes Gerry. I agree. Many with a keen eye for finely figured wood have passed. Yet, there is no shortage of a fine eye these days. Just a different crowd. Just when you think the fine wood rifle buyers are gone, the one piece you thought was 'under the money' says sold where the price used to be.
You all realize that if I don't sell this beautiful Dakota, my budget will be blown for 2019. You would not want that on your conscience now would you? Hah! Just giddy. New toy and all. Got the Merkel last night.
