Made a big pot of Senate Bean soup with a big ol ham bone for the family for supper tonight. Had some homemade garlic bread with cheese to go with it. The recipe said to put some instant mashed potatoes in for thickener. Pretty good. Was hoping for some leftovers for lunch tomorrow, but with two teenage boys in the house it's completely gone.

Out for supper last night, with a young missionary couple we support.
Beef dip, with onions, mushroom & cheese, on a really good pretzel bun. Au jus was rich, very tasty.
