I'd like to see German S-mines - Bouncing Betties - left in bait packages. Anything that happens to those sneak thieves is too good for them. Hell, they don't even know what they're stealing, they steal just to steal stuff.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Very cool.... But it is a lot of work and admittedly over-engineered. I like it but wouldn't a good old fashioned exploding dye pack work better? The type that bank robbers often get when they make unauthorized "withdrawals".

The guy is an NASA engineer . . . what did you expect "over-engineered?"

All you need is a pressurized bag of printer ink that sprays in every direction along with something that throws dog crap everywhere.

Good that he put a bogus address on it; at least they could not look at it and return to burn down his house. and hopefully too stupid to remember which house they took it from.

The type that bank robbers often get when they make unauthorized "withdrawals". This was my thought as well. Either an orange dye packet for a bank bag, or, as also mentioned, fill the hopper with black, blue, red, yellow toner for a laser printer... I agree, leave a mark. Even if it is rainbow colored and permanent...
