Once I got the barrel back, I had to open the barrel channel to float the Bartlein barrel.
Then drilled and installed flush cups front and rear.
Then filed & sanded the bolt notch in the stock for clearance.
And finally got 'er all bolted together.

Just for the hell-of-it, I weighed all the parts separately prior to assembly.
Here's the run down:
700 bare long action - 15 oz Complete bolt - 12.5 oz S/S recoil lug - .8 oz Floor plate, spring, stamped follower, mag box - 6 oz Trigger Tech trigger w/ pins - 2 oz Bartlein 2b cut to 24" - 3 lb 2 oz McMillan Game Scout - 25.5 oz
Bare gun weighs a half ounce over 7 pounds even.
Nightforce 2.5-10x42 - 20.6 oz Seekins 30mm medium rings - 3.8 Seekins 30 MOA rail - 2 oz Butler Creek caps - .8 oz
Gun with Nightforce ready to hunt - 8 pounds, 12 ounces.

Once again, Al hit it outta the park. Good things happen when you come clean! BTW, I'm likin' the McM Game 'Series' stocks. Gotta Game Hunter (Black Friday acquisition) on a Christensen Arms Ridgeline.
I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.

Once again, Al hit it outta the park. Good things happen when you come clean! I knew another was in the books before I sold the last one......ha ha.....I kept the NF off it & my reamer...... BTW, I'm likin' the McM Game 'Series' stocks. Gotta Game Hunter (Black Friday acquisition) on a Christensen Arms Ridgeline. Was hard to get away from my comfort zone, but I'm really liking this stock.
