$350.00 for a campfire member. I can transport within 200 mile radius of clarksville Tn to meet halfway. Or meet halfway within that distance Someone can drive the other 200 to me That expands the radius of potential sale to more states. FTF deal. Dont wanta deal with no shipping and ffl cost or delays. Adds to cost and takes away from and adds to price of the rifle on both sides of the deal.
Reason for selling Not a core group gun too me and need ta finance stuff without old lady Jumping my chyt seeing chyt on her banking app....... My win 94 is more accurate and easier to clean than microgroove.
This is my ad from tn armslist/clarksville/rifles The Nashville armslist ad is fugging with me and I have tried to post it twice
PM me if interested
1964 Marlin 36G 4 plus 1 capacity 20 inch barrel One of the 1st 500 in the run of these made in 1964 and 1965. This was the interim model between the Marlin 336 and the Glenfield model 30. Made by Marlin for Glenfield until Glenfield,s licensing process for the model 30 was completed. A total of 5930 of these were made in 2 years. This rifle does not have the G rollmark behind the words "model 36"on the barrel. It is one of the 1st 500 made in the production run for Montgomery Wards and the G roll mark is on the lower receiver tang inside the buttstock recess. Most of the rest in the production run of 2 years had the G rollmarked saying model 36G on the barrel. The 1st 500 also had black walnut serial # matched buttstocks and black walnut forearms. Then Glenfield said no more black walnut. All others made after the 1st 500 had birch or gumwood stocks. This rifle has been completely refinished by me. 21 layers of Tru oil on the wood and stock repair of 2 swivel holes some moron drilled. The perch belly forearm has been contoured straight on the bottom. The fore end cap has been floated and stress relieved from barrel contact . The forearm channel has been floated off the barrel also. It has been ceracoated a combo of gloss black and midnight blue. The action has been polished and smoothed. Front sight has been replaced with a lyman 1/16th inch brass bead post style and contour forward sloped for better appearance. It has a William's 5d 94 36 receiver sight with .050 aperture installed and the original .090 aperture is included. The micro groove bore is in VG condition. Hard case is included. 10 rounds of 160 gr leverevolution ammo is included which it is zeroed too. This is a 1.5 " 3 shot group rifle at 100 yards off bags and a bench. Probably even better if scoped. If you are a marlin collector and want a rifle that is hard to find and ready to hunt. This is it. These dont come up for sale often. It's not original condition. I didnt buy it to restore it to a factory condition. I bought it to make it an all weather accurate modern hunting carbine. And it sure as heck didnt look like this when I purchased it. Rough cant even begin to describe it the day I bought it. Call, Text or leave msg if no answer. Email will be deleted unread. Final price drop to 375 firm from original 450 listing price. Several people expressed interest several weeks ago on prior listing. At the time I had sellers 2nd thoughts. I am ready to sell now 100%.

One receiver screw, scope base screws, hammer, trigger, and loading gate left original for contrast. Someone has xmas cash, likes Marlins and needs this model in this configuration. Like I said it's not original. But redone and improved. JMO.

Sweeeet!!!!
I'm glad I live outside the 200 mile mark or I'd be 350.00 poorer.

I'm making about 15 bucks on it . The case and ammo go with it. I'm grooming my core group of guns to winchesters. 70, 94, 1400 and find a decent Winchester bolt .22. It's not anymore valuable than other marlins of it era But it is a rare model to come across.
