He was just making sure all the snow was out of the bed.

A quick tap on this overpass should clear out anything stuck...

So...for those of us in the hinterlands, what is going to be built on Sea Galley lands?

It was quite a hangout for oilfield trash at one time.

You folks seem to have a heluva time with your overpasses.......much more so than we do in Delta.

Hope there is not another 7.0!

Two bad and similar wrecks in one year with high traffic interruption and costs should make it clear that these idiots are going to shoot the whole industry in the foot... think pilot cars and permits to move under a bridge and everyone taking part in incidents gets to lose the CDL for a couple years...

A1 landscaping costs are going to be a lot higher this year.

Ouch. Reminds me of a similar deal but Bufus used a crane truck instead in that case. He dropped off a load of material off the side of the highway from his tandem crane truck to a crew working on a private rail road running along side and used for logging. He unloaded everything textbook like I was told, waved to the lads hopped in the truck and headed back to the yard. With 30 feet of hi-ab crane sticking straight up! They yelled, waved, hollered on the radio but he was in his own world crabbin gears like a mad man. Smoked the over pass a mile down the road which carried... wait for it... the private rail line. They were shut down for over a month, he K-O'd both main stringers each with a zillion smaller parts welded or bolted to them. Don't think he's with them any more.

Still trying to figure out how he pulled it off. Most dumps cannot be driven with the box up, they are too unstable and it would be obvious. Could he have grabbed the wrong handle and lifted it at exactly the wrong time? While running? Probably has a PTO that would have to be engaged to do that, too.

And the only picture I saw looked like an end dump?

Vern, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you know of SOFT hanging out at Sea Galley. That takes me back to the '70's and '80's when all oil field arrows were still pointing up. How's the winter so far up in Delta?
