Somebody on another forum is looking for a family Savage 99
My son-in-law let his Grandaddy's gun get away a few years ago and is regretting it big time. Pure sentimental value. The rifle is in rough shape, but has some great family history. He has traced it as far as Blue Springs, Missouri. Savage Model 99, .308, last four digits of serial are 1207. Thanks for any possible help!
