I have some Tikka factory rings if you need some. Otherwise, I use Warne rings made for the Tikka dovetail and recommend them.

I use the milled LW Talley’s that 16bore’s dad designed and are now available from Whittaker Guns.

I bought 2 sets of standard Leupold bases with the windage rear base but used both of the dovetails

Have said it before but it beats repeating- unless you need the inclination and/or ability to swap scopes that pic rings offer, you are missing some of the advantage of the integral rail on the Tikka. Have used every combination mentioned. Most extensively. Sportsmatch are extremely reliable in holding POI, postition the scope low, allow decent ring spacing, and are relatively inexpensive.

For hunting, Sportsmatch T084.

X a lot.

I don’t know how many Tikkas we have (a dozen, maybe a couple more) and they all wear milled Talleys.

Where's the best place to buy a set of those in 30mm? Do they make 30mm lows?

I have the Sportsmatch T084, and they do work very well. One side note, they are not tall enough to clear a 50mm scope, so get the taller ones if that is your plan.

Another new option is the Leupold Backcountry mounts. I have a set on the way from Brownell's and plan to give them a try.

I hit your link, and the Leupold Back country mounts are $119+ shipping.

The Sportsmatch, shipped, were like $50 after pounds to dollars conversion.

Yeah, the Leupold's are more like $70 at Brownell's.

I'm curious how those and the DD's look on the dovetail.

I will know later this week (on the Backcountry). Once I get a scope mounted, I will post some photos.
