I like it. I think that's one people have been waiting for.

That will be popular, though a 35% increase in weight over the 38 is significant.

it's about two ounces lighter than my Model 60 three inch. I paid $500 for the Model 60. This one does not interest me, but would if I did not already have two Smith three inch barrel revolvers.

I've got a couple of three inch J-Frames, too ... one an old school, polished, black aluminum framed, and one modern style Titanium/Scandium with a fiber optic front sight.

I'm going to load up some 38 Spl cases with 170gr cast SWC (Lyman 358429), over 5.0, 5.5, and 6.0 grains of Unique. Pressures (per QL) ranging from 19,000-23,000-28,000 psi, and velocities should range from 900-950-1000 fps, give or take for cylinder gap.

I’ve been waiting forever for Ruger to do a .327 Fed Mag version with the 3” barrel & adjustable sights. It would be the perfect little “kit gun” IMO.

Guess I’ll have to settle for the .357 Mag version for now 🤠

I think the 9mm was just released at the Shot Show. Boring!!! Can’t wait for the .327 Fed Mag though!

I may 'have' to grab one in 9mm simply for ammunition comparability.

How's that for an excuse! smile

Thay's nice!

I have three Rugers in the safe now in 327. I am impatiently waiting on the LCRx3 to join the herd, and then a Henry.

I would order the LCRx3 in 357, but.....
With the 327 loaded super lite (near 22 mag) to 38 equivalent, and several 41 mag revolvers loaded from 38 spec equivalent, up to near 44 mag levels with 250 gr bulllets I can not justify adding another cartridge, with attendant brass, dies, bullet molds, and bullets to the mix.
