No sir, only used it under 250gr swift a frames for 2500 fps, it's a good stout load.

63 grains RL17 210 Nosler Partition ping pong at 2750 FPS, 22" barrel Ruger M77. .5" load in my rifle.

63 gr Re 17, 200 gr Speer hotcore @ 2820 out of a 25 inch barrel.. My gun loves flat bases,hates boat tails for whatever reason...

That's a pretty sedate load. Probably pretty easy on the shoulder..

No, but seen enough with 250 Bergers and 230 ELD-X's to convince me....It just barely tolerates 200 Noslers.. For what I use it for,200 gr Speers into 3/4 does just fine... smile

I get great accuracy and velocity with RL17 in my 338-06. Mine does 210s around 2800 fps and 225s right at 2700 fps. Mine will probably go to Africa this year with 225s.

BSA, That load sounds close to max to me for a .338-06. I think I'm using 62 grains of RL17 with a 210 NPT but would have to check my notes.

Oops, sorry my friend. I was thinking 338wm. You would be right about the 338-06. That 210 NPT would be hell on anything around here in a 338-06 at those speeds.
