They've got mine, I have a neighbor across the street that has been going through the same thing for the last 3 years with their 10 year old son (now 13). 4 brain surgery's and 3 years of chemo, he seems to have made a full recovery and preparing to enter his first year of high school this next season, he's had to home school, since school nurse sent him home with a head ache.
It doesn't hardly seem fair with kids so young.

Thanks to everyone. We really do have a good bunch of folks around here. I'll post more when I know more. Trying not to bug my wife too much. She has been Landon's Personal Care Assistant for quite a while now, and this will be very hard on her if it doesn't have a positive outcome. Cathy's sister is the nurse in charge of managing Landon's care when he's at home.

I called Cathy, and it's not good. His trach tube somehow nicked his caryatid artery, and he's bleeding internally into his lungs. They said a healthy person would have a 20% chance of surviving the very tricky surgery. In his compromised situation, he's not a good candidate for the surgery. Cathy said he's resting now, and they are giving him about two hours. The family has gathered at the hospital.
One tough little kid. He's been through so much in his way too short life. Hang in there Landon. Prayers to the family, caregiviers, and all those touched by Landy Man.
