Hello I'm looking for a gunsmith to rechamber a 22-250 to .22 Creedmoor.
Does anyone have a recommendation or a contact to a decent smith who could do this work? I'd prefer to find someone in MO, or the Kansas City area but I'm not against sending it out either.
Thanks.

West Texas ordinance in Ackerly TX just re-chambered a .22-243 AI to a 22 Creedmoor for me. Very nice job and quick turnaround. I know they have the reamer cause they ordered it for me.
How can I tell you bye if you wont leave?

Davet, GAP (GA Precision) is downtown KC, Gordy Gritters (Benchrest master gunsmith) is in North KC, ... PM me if you want his number, or www.gordysgunshop.comI’ve always used Gordy, but Georges team at GAP is really good too. BTW - Manners stocks, and Badger ordance are also downtown by GAP.. Just a note - anytime you re-chamber one has to tackle the issue if the original chamber was cut centered on the barrel or centered on the bore. The Creed case is just a tad bit wider than the 22-250 so you may have to follow what is there (center on the chamber vs. center on the bore which is more accurate). Given you aren’t changing the bore size you’ll be stuck with the neck diameter it has to some point.... so the choices will be limited to some point. I.e. - you can buy a new barrel and have them chamber it for another 300 bucks, and have a bench quality gun.....

I'd not let Kobe rebarrel a milkshake, with a fresh straw.
Shaen would get my bidness and I'd start with a new/killer spout, throated to my whim.

Hint................ Sig Btick, must be cold up there. You are all over the forums with your BS. Probably can't afford Kobe and he won't put up with your BS either. You need to go eat another ton of bear fat, under stand you are wasting away.

Bless your heart.................... Sh*t Bird, I am a fugging Okie living Tejas. I used to be a fugging okie living in Alaska. Somebody told me if I smelled a very foul smell it was probably a big fat guy called bigger sticker. It was easier to move out rather than the smell of a lard ass. Football game time, I'll stick you tomorrow.
