Just been watching a "Tales of the Gun" on sniper/sharpshooting.

I want a rifle by Bob Gamboa.

However, I dont think that I qualify.

To quote him.

"I only make rifles for the very best shooters."

I dont think that I fit the bill.

I don't know Bob Gamboa and have no doubt that he does excellent work, but I'll bet that Celt or Sisk can do just as good. Celt shoots long range and should have some good insights. Check him out.

That was just letting out some hot air / wishfull thinking....

I have many many many things higher on my list of priorities than spending obscene amounts of money for a 1000 yard competition race gun. It would be a fun toy though.

There is one for sale, pretty well tricked out on Guns America for $2250. Don't know who smithed it or how many rounds are down the tube, obvious first questions. But it looks neat. Set up for open sights. Look under custom rifles.

Hello,
I've got some advise on the purchase of a "rifle for the very best shooters". If you want to learn to be one of the very best , don't hesitate a second to get a rifle you think would fill the bill. When I got started in shooting Highpower that's exactly what I did, I got the very best available. That way there was no doubt in my mind that the reason there wasn't a ten or an X on my target was because I didn't shoot one . This will really speed up your learning curve concerning how to shoot a rifle accurately in all positions.
Best Regards,
Lee M. Land
