Based on my own 300 Mag deer killing experience use a Fed Premium with 180 gr NPT and only take rib cage shots at that range if you hit either shoulder you can count on throwing it away ( that shoulder). I eventually went to 165 gr flatbase Hornady sp' s loaded to 3000 fps and still only took rib cage shots. If you like too eat them just pound them thru the ribs. MB

Factory ammo. Try good old tried and true Remington Core Lok. Great bullet for deer in any caliber.
