I have 12 points for Wyoming but think I'll split them with two buddies so they can hunt with me. We should average 5. I was looking at unit 73 or 103 but need some suggestions if I should look at those units or others? Thinking public land, no guided. Thanks!

Lots of great areas with 4-5 PP. I would wait to decide after this winter in case we get some winter kill.

With that many points I would avoid the east side of the state. I am unsure how much public land is in 73 and 103, but being that close to Casper and Cheyenne I wouldn't mess with them.
The units around Rock Springs, Pinedale and Kemmerrer have substantially better public access and just as many antelope. Unit 60 is the premier antelope unit in my opinion, but I am not sure you'll have any chance even with that many points. I'd personally consider units 57, 58, 59 and 95, but any of the units in the western part of the state are good.
I'd also avoid the checkerboard if you're intent on hunting closer to the east side of the state. It is not impossible to hunt, but it does take more planning.

75 is a huge area, mostly public land.

Thanks for the tips. I don't think I have a shot at 57-59 but will look at the others.

With those points you can have a world class hunt in a top unit. Use those points for yourself, let your buddies tag along if you want. But if I’d done the leg work to acquire that many, no way I’d share.

103 would be tough without gaining access to private. Although I have seen plenty of antelope there on public. 73 has much better access/public land. It looks like a no brainer to me. I wouldn't get too hung up on "which unit has better antelope". You can find a great buck in just about any unit. I would be more concerned with access.
Winter kill would also be huge. I would wait, pick your units, then call G&F and ask for biologist numbers for the area your interested to inquire about winter kill.

I doubt 5 points will get you in 73 this year, eastmans rated it a blue chip last year. It's a great unit hunted does there the last couple of years.

This is the report you want to look at as a starting point: https://wgfd.wyo.gov/WGFD/media/content/PDF/Hunting/Drawing%20Odds/DRAW_ANT_PP_NONRES_2018.pdfThis will tell you all the areas you can expect to have a shot at with 7 points. Once you highlight all those areas look em over via OnXMaps and rank em. Then when quotas are released (wyotex was dead on) for ‘19 in April you compare YOY changes and decide how to structure an ap from there. Good luck; that many points should get you an incredible hunt!

I’ll play the devil on your shoulder like you see in the movies. Ditch the friends and use your points for an area 60 tag. You WILL kill a giant.

You will pull a nice tag with 7 PP. Lots of areas to get a true trophy so wait til after winter to decide. You can find a great buck in areas not mentioned and off the radar . B&C bucks have come from not known areas for trophies so don't sweat it on trying to pick just yet.

I agree with T Inman in that I would look further west than 73. 74 75 or further west might have some private land, but plenty of public that will not be a problem to access.
Don't know what size buck you would be happy with, but 14"+ bucks are seriously easy to find, and yes B&C bucks do spring up from unexpected areas from time to time, but area 60 is one I hear about a lot.
