I have a Remington 1st generation Titanium mountain rifle that I bought from a individual. A “duratouch” type paint job had been applied to the factory stock at some point. It has become extremely sticky and I need to remedy this.
Any suggestions? Can one of these companies that hydro dip or cerakote deal with this?
I also have another Ti rifle that I’d like to have fully camouflaged. What’s the best method?
Thanks, Jeff

I'd be interested in seeing this failing finish in hand. Could refinish for you. PM if interested. Have any pictures of what you have?

How much weight would it add to it?

Who gives a schit. Do it once and you're fhuqking done forever...the schit wears like IRON.
Focus results,not Fluff.

I was thinking along the lines of every ounce matters in an original first gen TI rifle.

If every ounce mattered, you'd strip paint and run it nekked.
