Really no need for anything new. And there hasn't been for what, 80 years or so? Every industry has to keep introducing new and improved products so that people will buy them and the buy/sell cycle will keep going and everybody will benefit in some form. I love to try new things! This.....and your opinion will be valid based on "real world" facts by actually using, and testing these new products, instead of an opinion coming from someone with zero experience with said products... I don't even own a 6.5 Creedmoor, but have quite a few rifles chambered for 6 Creedmoor, and one 22 Creedmoor, with another two of those being built right now. I'd probably go with a 25, if more of a bullet selection were available. Hopefully, there will be in the future...
Luck....is the residue of design...

I'd just be happy if we made no advancements in medicine for the last 80 years. Then 1/2 the dumbfugks wouldn't exist that exist today.

I don't care a whit what anyone else uses either, nor much more what I use. Like you say, they all work when properly applied. I get much more worked up over good rifles, which is why I keep picking them up now and again, and keep ones that are really redundant from a practicality standpoint. Don't want to go down that rabbit hole, but I could do very well with only my 6mm Barrett, a spare, and my Hornet, at least as to CFs.
6-7 pound rifles are very geezer-friendly, I've found, as long as they're not too lively on the back end.

I have eclectic tastes in firearms and cartridges, which is probably why I have hundreds of the former that are chambered for dozens of the latter. I'm struggling to see much of a market for long, heavy, VLD .257" bullets, given that the majority of the existing .257" bore rifles have 1-10" or slower ROT barrels that won't accommodate them. That said, my favorite .257" bore cartridge is the much maligned 25 WSSM and my favorite bullets to shoot in the 25 WSSM aren't very long or VLD, the 75 grain VMax for pdogs, the 90 grain Sierra HPBT for coyotes, and the 110 grain AB for deer. EDIT: I will admit to being something of a Luddite when it comes to gunpowder, still shooting a lot of H4895.

No, did you? https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/13228311/1Changed your mind? Or, maybe the ultrasound (medical advance of the last 80 years,) added some valuable diagnostic input?

Shooting a lot of H4895 doesn't make you a Luddite. Heck, I shoot a lot of IMR 3031.

If you can't figure out the analogy betwixt my previous post about 80 years of medical as it applies to not needing anything new or not needing it for the past 80 years. Obviously I don't believe that about medical, because I don't wear ignorance as a badge of honor. I'm not saying you are ignorant, not in the least, just stupid.

I see absolutely no benefit to a 25 CM, when you can accomplish the exact same thing with the 6CM, a fast twist 243,the 6.5 CM, or the 6.5PRC. What's the point. There is no money in it for the gun maker.

Got to thinking that if we went back 80 years, to 1939, and looked at the center-fire commercial and military cartridges that were being factory loaded by RP and WW, would we find a way to get the job done, from squirrels to elephants?

Sycamore,
Buffalo Arms offers .33 WCF factory loads. That may not be the only source, but it's the only one I'm aware of.

I’d buy one, lol. Hell, I’d like to have one of each of the major calibers built around the creed, just because! I’m Just kidding....but I really would probably buy a .25, .27, or 7mm creeds. The only reason I’d consider those is because I don’t currently own a .277 or any 7mm right now. I do own a 250-3000 but it’s really old and has a lot of sentimental value. I don’t feel like I can take it to the field.
