Definitely appears that Speer is attempting to mount a comeback. I'm glad to see it.

Never had much luck getting boat tail bullets to perform in my pain hunting rifles... I do love the Speer Hotcore... Flat base bullet and they fly very well... I will give them a try when they hit the market and see how they do,
Well... we have come to the point.... where... the parasites are killing the host. It's only a matter of time now.
They only win.... when they cheat.

.264 & .30 cal only.
Don’t fall in love w/ them they’ll be discontinued as soon as word gets out they’re worth a $h!t.

300 Win Mag should be available in June iirc, 6.5 and 308 coming out later. It is designed as a hunting round with long range accuracy per the engineer and reported excellent expansion at long range in ballistic gel.

I suppose it is a plated bullet like the Deep Curl since it is described as molecularly bonded construction. Hope it doesn't have the Deep Curl's problem of using only a certain few powders and in a few cartridges.
Shew me thy ways, O LORD: teach me thy paths. "there are few better cartridges on Earth than the 7 x 57mm Mauser" "the .30 Springfield is light, accurate, penetrating, and has surprising stopping power"

Reviving an old thread. Anyone have 1st hand experience regarding accuracy or terminal performance?
The bullet seems to want to compete with the Accubond LR offering.
Looks like blue collar reloading has 30 cal 172gr available. Also Speer seems to have completed more of their line, with a .277 150gr offering now.

I've been waiting to try these bullets in .264" Dia and hopefully they'd expand that line to include 7mm and other bullet Dia offerings.
So I haven't answered your question, but I still haven't even seen these bullets online to even order. Likewise I haven't seen them on my local retailer shelves.
So I'm still waiting
