Digital Dan
I asked about the swivel breech flintlocks because the latest issue of "American Frontiersman"
Issue #241 has an artical about builder David Price. His kits start at $2500 and finished guns start at $5000.
I have become very interested in flintlock rifles. I read a Louis Lamour book about the Fergusson rifle and
have thought about it often. I think a double barrel flintlockwould be the ultimate flintlock. If you get a chance
to check it out it is an interesting read.

My Dad on the left, 172 and my client on the right, 174 net. Both deer were shot within 5 minutes of each other and about 1-1/2 miles abart.

It was a good morning in deer camp smile

After guiding for 20 years I can say with 100% certainty that I’ve never seen a deer live with a hole in its lungs, caliber, bc, sd, velocity are all the least important part of the equation. Know your gun, verify your zero, and the rest is good for internet banter.
