I love how he is yawning into the camera in the first photo.

I am convinced that white-tail deer have a spring -summer and fall-winter range. A few years back I watched 5 different bucks both visually and on game cams for a period of 5 years. Come late September they would disappear until late February/early March, then come back from April through September.

I just checked them out.

Interesting...

The Presa Canario is confident, calm, devoted and vigilant. Obedient with family members, these dogs may act suspicious around strangers. Good, early socialization can help them adapt to new people and situations.

Presas make for excellent guard dogs — their large appearance alone is intimidating, and their hyperawareness makes them stand ready to defend people or property.

Everyone a great show... Gee, never get tired of those TX, pic... Been there quite a bit, great state and great folks... Alberta is cool also.. Some super deer there, but too cold for this old guy.. Enjoyed it all.. No matter what we do, there are always bitchers and winners !! Best just to put the pricks on ignore, and enjoy the show... I would be most whitetails are shot from some sort of stand.. The box blinds are more popular than ever... The area I used to hunt in Pa. is covered with them.. The way of the world today..

I hate to ask, but how long do they live? Are they cursed with the large breed short lifespan?
