There is a Model 70 Custom Shop rifle up on Gunbroker. 9 day total auction. Not mine or associated with it in any way. Stainless with fancy upgraded stock.

The stainless "Extreme Weather" left handers with a McMillan SuperGrade stock were around $2000 from the Custom Shop in the year 2000, with the fancy wood on this and depending on when the original owner bought this it could well have cost a fair bit over that.

Already at $1,675 with 7+ days to go. For sure, a nice piece of wood. Will be interesting...

Winchester always seems to use very nice wood on their custom shop rifles.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Agreed. I picked up a semi finished lefty stock from their custom shop and it is very nice. Just need to find a project to use it.

$2200. Not bad for a 7mm in a soft market.
