I am considering purchasing a Hornady Ammo Concentricity Gage and wanted to hear from other owners as to their satisfaction with this tool. Does your ammo checked with this tool shoot more accurately? Other comments as to plusses or minuses are sought.

I had one and traded it for an RCBS to a member here who wanted it. The Hornady measured runout fine and would adjust the rounds that were only a bit out of concentricity, but if you happened upon one that was .006 or more it was usually impossible to get them to .003. Probably the best thing would have been to set those aside as practice rounds. Also, with the Hornady you are trying to straighten by pushing on the bullet, which can loosen the bullet in the neck. Along with the RCBS I use a TruTool to straighten the rounds which are over .003 or just set them to one side.
Actually, I've modified my reloading methods and these days there aren't many that are off, takes longer but the results are worth it to me. Either use a Lee Collet die or deprime, resize and expand neck in three separate steps.

Why don't you MYOB? Have you asked the same question of the posters inquiring about digital scales or tumbling media? There is no reloading forum in case you haven't noticed. There are 10 threads on this page NONE of which have anything to do with reloading software.

Check out the Sinclair. It is so easy to set up and use. Accuracy if great. It won’t straighten any runout, but, I don’t think that should be done any how as it will affect bullet tension and bullet release. Load them up and use them as foul shots or practice. They should be good for their next loading
