I have killed a ton of game with them, from deer to elk in North America to leopard and a bunch of plains game in South Africa and Namibia. Longest shot was a gemsbok at 467 yards. The leopard was shot charging very close. I also shot a client's wounded kudu as it was running straight away. That is the only tipped TBBC I've recovered. It had about 93 percent weight retention and looked perfect. I would be happy to e-mail a pic to someone to post it. PM sent

I bought some 7mm 140 grain from Midway a while back. They show none now. What’s up with that? Are they not making components now?

I guess demand out ran supply. I'm sure they'll make some more. I'm going to work up loads for my bud who's going to Africa for PG next year, shooting a 7RM Sendero. I'm thinking these may be good, also have 160 NAB's. Will compare how they shoot. Have a big jug of RL-26, also MRP (similar to RL-22), RL-23 and H-4831. DF

I had a bunch of the 7mm 160’s made by Jack. They hammered deer and javelinas.

Dirt Farmer: Not a gunwriter, but you might consider the Woodleigh Weldcore 7mm 160 grain PP as an effective substitute for the TBBC.

I think the “Tipped” bear claws are now the Trophy Bonded Tipped. The next version is the Edge LTR which supposedly has better accuracy and long range performance.
To the comment earlier, i have found them difficult to find. Any suggestions on websites?
Also, to the MasterBlaster, did you get good performance and blood trails?

You've apparently been out of the loop. Care to fill me in?
