Don't want to abuse the good graces of folks here and overdo the links to gunbroker ads but it seems we lefties are a small enough bunch that such things are okay.

But down to business. I just listed a LH Tikka T3x Hunter .260 Remington on gunbroker. Rifle is very lightly used, only a couple of small scuffs in the forearm. If someone from the 'fire bought it I could make you a very nice package deal on the Talley lightweight rings that came off this rifle and/or loading dies - Redding body die, Lee collet die and a Forster BR seating die.

That's a great rifle. I have the T3 Hunter and am very pleased with it.

I own two Tikka sinistral long actions. Very accurate rifles and good value, although I personally hate their buttstock design.
My only hesitation is, the short actions are blocked and still a long action, right?

Regardless, what are you asking?

Yes, all Tikka's are built on one action size, then the bolt stop limits travel for short action rounds like the .260. Starting bid is $600.

The short on long gives you more support of the bolt at the rear of the cycle. This makes for a non-binding bolt throw. Actions known for being smooth seem to have this in common.
